Our education programmes focus on giving pupils a firm foundation in their own language and culture. This is vital in attaining a good balance between social-emotional and academic growth.
We believe in the power of interactive group education. Working together and interacting with one another is an effective and fun way to learn! However, we keep our groups small, so that we can maximise the attention we give to each pupil.
The local advisory council
The goal of the local advisory council is to promote the interests of the school, the pupils, the parents and the stakeholders. The council is comprised of parents, supplemented where possible by a representative of the Dutch or Belgian Embassy, or the Dutch or Belgian Consulate. The members have an advisory and supportive role. The council meets around four times a year about the progress of the school. The members represent the various locations where LanguageOne is active. At the start of the academic year, the local advisory council comprises of Marielle van Mierlo (Gharaffa), Rosemarie van Campen (Gharaffa/Madinat Khalifa), Berend-Jan Klein Swormink (Rayyan) en Adriaan Robertson (after school).
